The Royal Thai Government Gazette published the finalised rules on 31 August: 60 nationalities move from a 60-day to a 30-day visa-free stay, 21 nationalities lose visa-free entry altogether, Seychelles and Mauritius get 15 days, the exemption is now tourism-only, and land-border visa-exempt entries are capped at twice a calendar year. Travellers admitted before 15 September keep their old stay length.
